Company Profile: We have vacancy for  Sr.Manager - Risk & Credit Policy based in Mumbai for our clients who are a highly successful, fast growing, professionally managed FinTech organisation. The organisation is very well funded by some of the World's most prestigious PE firms, has over 20 branches in India, book size of over Rs.800 crores and headcount of over 600#. The position reports to the Head-Collections. The organisation is a non-deposit taking FinTech organisation registered with RBI. They are engaged in a highly profitable niche segment of  lending business targeting small and medium sized retailers who find it difficult to get financed by traditional financial institutions. The loan offering is quite unique in terms of its parameters such as monetisation of future cash flows from payment cards swiped on Point-of-Sale terminal, flexibility in repayment, and partnership spirit.
 
It is a one-of-the-kind offering and has created a separate industry in the country. They have developed a specialised technology platform to cater to our special product. They also have CIBIL membership and access to consumer as well as commercial credit data. The company is driven by innovation, technology and entrepreneurial spirit in each sphere. 
 
The company has developed a business framework which not only encompasses traditional lending segments but also has a strong customer relationship program. The development of this framework has led to engagement programs which have been customised for merchants and hence have a relation which would be independent of the loan. This is a unique feature in the product bouquet and leads to opportunities in having a very strong fee based presence in the financials.
 
The company operates out of its head office in Mumbai.

Job Profile: Will be key member of the Credit & Risk Team and report to the Head-Credit & Risk. Responsible for driving changes and monitor implementation of the same. 

 

KRAs

a) identify and pursue opportunities that enhance the Risk/Credit return upon impaired assets by improving the decision tools, treatments and strategies used within the processes.

 

b) generation of key management information to support business direction. 

 

  1. Responsible for the development, monitoring and implementation of Credit+Risk strategies, driving incremental & step change improvements
  2. Build and develop fully value segmented strategies and processes 

 

  1. Audit, review & document Credit & Risk Policies, strategies & practices

 

  1. Deliver detailed financial trend analysis, and produce robust projections

 

  1. Develop and implement policy to maximize returns and manage financial difficulty 

 

  1. Liaise closely with key stakeholders

 

  1. Manage production of insightful and timely MI to inform Senior Management

 

  1. Lead, motivate and develop a small team of analysts

 

Candidate Profile: CAs / MBAs with 7-15 years’ experience in Credit Card / Business Loan (preferably with underwriting background) of which minimum 4 years in portfolio Risk Management. Must have worked with leading NBFCs or Banks. Have a good understanding of Portfolio Analytics & Risk Levers. Drive Policy Changes & Monitor its implementation. Should have led projects on Scorecard / Risk Model development with Analytics team. Good Communication & Presentation Skills
